Chimp-n-Sea Wildlife Conservation Fund

This is a non-profit group that has a mission to promote the preservation and conservation of primate and marine habitats while educating through creative means such as storytelling and music. They also have done work in the Kibale area of Uganda with their Kibale Community Fuel Wood Project.

The Kasiisi Project

This is a non-profit group with a mission to give rural schoolchildren living near Kibale National Park in western Uganda a chance for a successful future, by funding classroom buildings, scholarhips and related projects, one school at a time.

The Village Project: preserving indigenous traditions

This is a California, USA-based non-profit organization dedicated to helping preserve indigenous humanities through recording, cataloging, performing and educating, and through promoting sustainable economic, ecologic and commerce practices to communities, programs and individuals who continue to practice and develop their indigenous traditions.

International Library of African Music

This organization aims to discover, record, analyze, and archive the music of sub-Saharan Africa, with the object of establishing a theory of music making in Africa and assessing the social, cultural, and artistic values of African music. It is a subdivision of the Institute of Social and Economic Research at the Rhodes University campus in Grahamstown, South Africa.
